Eshet Chayil Mi Imtza - A Woman of Valor
According to Jewish custom, the hymn of Eshet Chayil is usually, recited on Friday evenings.
Once returning from the synagogue, and when sitting down to the special Shabbat evening meal
The Eshet Chayil poem is a 22 verse with which King Solomon concludes the book of Proverbs. It describes with great honor, the woman of valor as one who is energetic, righteous, and capable of so much.
The poem has a special acrostic arrangement in which the verses begin with the letters of the Hebrew alphabet in regular order.
